Dear parents, My name is Mrs. O'Connor, I am very excited to be the technology teacher at Blessed Sacrament School.
I'd like to take this time to tell you a bit about myself. I am a proud graduate of Blessed Sacrament School, class of 1998. I am so excited to be teaching at the school where I learned so much from so many wonderful teachers and administrators.
I attended LeMoyne College for my undergraduate degree and The College of Saint Rose for my master's degree. For the past 12 years, I have been working in the digital technology space, helping companies around the world implement new websites, paid advertising strategies, email marketing blasts, and database management.
I am so excited to teach your children all the new and interesting ways that technology can play a part in their every day lives. I plan to introduce the students to Microsoft Office, Google Documents, Typing programs, basic computer programming skills, robotics and in my opinion the most important lesson of all, responsible practices when it comes to their digital footprint.
Outside the classroom, I am a proud wife to my wonderful husband Neil, and a mom of two beautiful children, Ryan and Emma!
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and having a great school year! Please check back to this website often, as I will be updating it with content relevant to your student's education.
Sincerely,
Mrs. O'Connor
